Woodbridge

Woodbridge

Before the 1950s, Woodbridge was a community largely used for farming. And in
fact, before 1971 it was a municipality all its own. Once major transportation routes
were instated and minor redevelopment was done to the area after Hurricane Hazel
destroyed some of it, families and country homes started to make their way in.
Today, Woodbridge is one of the wealthiest areas in the GTA.

Woodbridge has a population of about 101,170 and that’s a number that’s been
growing by tens of thousands each decade. The suburb lies within the city of
Vaughan and more specifically, along the Humber River Valley. The homes here are
luxurious, and make it difficult to determine which mansion you like best. Prices on
these grand homes range anywhere from $748,000 to over $1.3 million and all are
situated on spacious lots.

Due to the beauty of the homes in Woodbridge, and the fact that they can be found
with the most modern amenities, or ornate antique finishes makes them attractive
to just about everyone. Woodbridge is one of those places that you just want to be,
and that sees many singles, couples, families, and seniors moving to Woodbridge
each and every year.
